Sunday school can help a child of God feel more a part of the family of God. It is a way to learn the family history—the Bible—and the family rituals and customs—our worship. It helps connect students of all ages with the life of their church family, and serves as a source of faith education and Christian nurture. The reality is that the Christian faith is based on the revealed will and truth of God in the Scriptures. If we do not have exposure to the Word, our faith is in jeopardy.
Sunday School plants spiritual seeds, and makes a life-long difference. “Some of my greatest revelations concerning God’s love and plan for me I received quietly in Sunday School. I never forgot the songs, the lessons and the love” said one Sunday School teacher. Sunday Schools are like plant nurseries: they may look unimpressive at first, but under the soil, miracles are happening.
Community worship and fellowship are nurtured during the weekly Sunday School opening time, when everyone sings together and celebrates birthdays. Sharing their faith, the Sunday School children sing as a choir in Worship, present the Christmas and Easter stories in special programs, and always participate on the church's float in the Victorville Christmas Parade.
Come join us on Sunday mornings from 10:30 -11:45 AM!
