Rosemarie Carrizosa
My name is Rosemarie Carrizosa.
I am the preschool director and teach the PreK 4 and 5 year olds. I enjoy working with the children and parents.
In my class we’re using a curriculum called Handwriting Without Tears that teaches teaching handwriting using a variety of techniques and multisensory methods to help them write. Examples include using chalk and chalkboards, dry erase markers and boards, and spelling their name in salt. We have circle and Bible time every day. For our Share Day every Friday, the children are encouraged to bring something to go along with the letter of the week.
At Zion I am able to express my faith through music, teaching Bible stories, and teaching the love of Christ to each and every person who comes through our doors.
I have a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University.
I enjoy spending time with family and listening to worship music.
